Due to current Health and Safety legislation the Grapevine has undertaken an extensive review of its policies surrounding the protection of children in the salon and more general issues such as smoking, and mobile phones. The safety and wellbeing of every client is our top priority.

The Grapevine now offer more relaxation treatments than ever before, with lots of busy clients booking appointments for much needed ‘down time’. It is very important to us that we provide a quiet and stress free environment for our clients throughout the salon. Unfortunately the safety of young children cannot be guaranteed when accompanying an adult who is having a hair or beauty treatment.

Following the advice of our insurance providers and lots of feedback from clients over the last 12 months, the following policies will be implemented with effect from the 1st September 2015.

Child Policy

  • No children under the age of 12 are to accompany parents to their hair & beauty appointments.
  • Nursing newborn babies can be brought to hair appointments only. This must be by prior arrangement so that we can make sure a safe area is prepared for the appointment.

Please note - During the school holidays the Grapevine will increase the availability of early and late appointments in order to provide the most flexible possible service when child care may be an issue. In the event that you struggle to book a suitable appointment, please call and ask to speak to the manager on duty who will do their very best to accommodate your needs.

Mobile Phone Policy

  • We kindly ask that all mobile phones or communication devices are switched to silent.

Smoking Policy

  • We operate a strict NO smoking policy throughout our premises (including electronic smoking devices).
